TIPS: Never has the traveller had so much choice. Ferries can be expensive so check out any special offers, cheapest time of day/night day of the week etc. When making property enquiries ask if the owner has any special reference numbers for possible discount travel, do they offer "any day of the week arrivals" to make use of cheaper ferry prices! Would it be more economical to use the Tunnel and have the drive this end on near empty roads or perhaps a cheap flight combined with a hire car?
